Today District IV held the annual Honor Band auditions for the Middle and High School Honor Bands. We had many students from Central work hard to prepare the challenging audition music. They represented us well at the audition and we are proud of their efforts!
Congratulations to the following students for their selection into the 2015-2016 District IV Honor Band: Ryleigh Cotton, 8th, Contra Bass Clarinet Ana’ya Hendricks, 8th, Clarinet Jasmine Jones, 8th, Clarinet Jadon Shirley, 7th, Trumpet Maya Variganji, 7th, Trumpet Madelyn Volion, 8th, Flute Logan Kern, 7th, Trombone (alternate) We are proud to say we doubled the number we had made it last year! A special thank you to our private lessons teachers, Ms. Kristie Smith, Dr. Ashley Kelly, and Mr. Chris Hochkeppel. for all of the extra attention they gave to the students auditioning.
