6th Grade Beginner Demonstration Concert

Our 6th grade beginners have had a fantastic start to the school year!  We are very excited to present our first ever Beginner Demonstration Concert in October!  We will show off the very first songs we have learned on our band instruments as well as some of the warmups and new techniques that we have learned.  This educational concert will be a treat for not only our audience but also for our first time performers!

Students should arrive at 6:10 pm in their band uniform, leaving their instrument cases in the car or with their parents.  The concert will be under an hour in length.  *Please note that all performances are mandatory and are for a grade.

CMS Band Uniform  

• CMS Band maroon polo shirt (Available for $20.00 – check to CMS Band or cash, please order these ASAP if you have not already.  All polos will be handed out at least a week before the concert.)
• Black dress slacks (NO FADED BLACK JEANS, LEGGINGS, OR JOGGERS)
• Black belt
• Black tall socks
• Black shoes (closed toe)
• Shirt must be tucked in

Looking for parent volunteers:
Collect donations at the door (should plan to arrive at 5:30)
Help with setup before (time TBA) and teardown after concert
