Congratulations to the 8th grade band, who played a memorable Fall Concert on October 24. The students, dressed in their best costumes, played a variety of fun music, all conjuring the sounds of spook-tacular fall!
The District IV Honor Bands are an opportunity for selected students to spend three days in January performing with outstanding musicians from throughout the Greater Baton Rouge area. Earning membership in these prestigious groups is a great addition to any young musician’s resume. CMS has been very proud of the number of students who are selected from our school each year and we take the audition process very seriously. The Mustangs who have been selected have had an unforgettable experience performing new and challenging music, meeting other musicians, and learning from an accomplished band director. This year the conductor of the top honor band is a composer, Mr. Eric Morales! AUDITION INFORMATION
